SURPRISE!!!!!
I took this picture in the car while we pulled up to The Harmon's and Jon started to realize what was going on. He said," Why is Rob's car here?" I was looking out the window trying to act like I did not know what was going on. After I couldn't hold it in any longer, I said,"Surprise! Happy Birthday!"
The photographer took some great pictures and I especially love the picture of Jules and Max in the Pecan Orchard.
The tables were decorated with decoys and spanish moss. Mrs. Harmon did such a great job.
For Jon's birthday I planned a trip to New Orleans for the two of us. We are going to see one of our favorite bands, Galactic, at Tipitina's on Friday. Saturday have reservations at John Besh's restaurant, LUKE. Sunday, we are going to Jazz Fest to see Allman Brothers and David Egan! I am sooooo excited for our trip.
Planning Jon's surprise party was tough. The day of his party, he kept wanting to go out to Dixie early and go fishing. I was coming up with excuse after excuse to prolong our arrival. He had no clue about the party, so I guess I pulled it off. I was hard, but worth it, to see the smile on his face!

ReplyDeleteLots of fun on so many levels as Frank & Nancy (Whitney too!) pulled out all the stops for yet another wonderful gathering! Best part: seeing everyone together & hearing stories of lives changing, growing, families, etc. Happy to be a part of it all.
